Critterbox- Damn, there are some harsh words about the ol' Critter. All I can say is that I get along very well with Conor and Critterbox. I was approached by several other toy companies in the last two years but I felt that Critterbox could work with my vision the best. There's something about the level of detail and care put into their products that really seduced me. My goal with toys is to make something that is both art and a playable object. I'm talking bendy arms, poseability, removeable driver guy, accessories, I want people taking it out of the box and interacting with it while also respecting it as a piece of art. I guess I felt that Critterbox could do all this and so far I'm not disappointed. As for their business practices, I don't know but I think Conor IS Critterbox. He is the brains and brawn behind the business and is super f-ing busy. He probably has no less than 2 million things going on in his mind at any one time and I think people have to give him a break. You have to also take into consideration that he's an artist first and a businessman second. He's eccentric. He has ideas and is super creative. I love the guy! I'm looking at all of this from an artists perspective, I guess I can see some points from the consumer's point of view. I'd just say to try and have some patience and understand that quality is difficult and takes some time.

Ca verra forcément le jour je pense! Il y a tellement de monde qui en parle et qui le veut... Regardez le Ringo Bear! Et Critterbox a quand même investit pour sortir une pub dans je sais plus quel mag US pour ce toy!

Donc ce sera produit par le boss de critterbox, le proto est fini mais il reste encore pleins de details a regler (les membres seront flexibles par exemple) mais il est confirmé que le projet aboutira (a priori en millieu/fin d année prochaine)

Alors là sans vouloir être pessimiste, je sais pas si c'est une bonne nouvelle... sachant que Critterbox ont toujours au moins 6 mois, 1 an de retard sur leur planning de sorties et que là ils annoncent milieu/fin d'année prochaine, ca nous projette à 2009, moi perso j'espère être passé à autre chose Very Happy
